Without doubt the place has gone ahead. It has a lot of
very large houses now built and I am told that these are selling in the
mid
$1.5m to $2.2m price range. The white double storey townhouses shown in
the
photos are directly opposite our land and the Beach Huts (overnight
accommodation) are directly behind us. Our land is behind the red
commodore
(that appears in a couple of the photos) to the right. There is a new
house
being built across from us on the other side of the roundabout (it has a
temporary metal fence around it while construction is happening). There is a
new
hotel at the entry with drive thru bottle shop, the local cafe is full to
capacity with families enjoying a coffee and snack. The first 4 photos
show
the access point to the beach, we are approx 100 metres from this point.
The beach is approx 26km in length and is land locked by rivers at each
end. The beach is a north
facing
beach.
The weather was outstanding, the beach looked amazing and overall the
place
was feeling and looking very fresh and with everyone enjoying themselves.
The new school is open and is a lot larger than I was expecting.
Moore
Park Beach is located 18km north of Bundaberg. The drive from Bundaberg is pleasant through cane farms and now quite

LOCATION: Moore Park Beach is located approx 18klm from the major Regional Centre of Bundaberg. There are two ends to Moore Park Beach, one the older "fishing village" end the other the new Sylvan Drive end. Moore Park Beach has had in the last two years a lot of positive developments, such as a large new school, the construction of a new hotel / restaurant / bottle shop and a large amount of residential land developed and construction. Moore Park Beach is one of many beach side locations in the Bundaberg area, the others are Bargara, Innes Park, Bundaberg Port, Mon Repos and even Woodgate could be included. Some of the "hot spots" that are more commonly spoken about are Bargara and 80klm further North Agnes Water and the town of 1770. Local's know that a lot of the business people and prominant local identities have property at Moore Park Beach and especially on Sylvan Drive where it is not uncommon now for properties to be exchanged from $1,000,000 to say $2,900,000.
PRICE POINT Each house in this development will be in the $277,000 - $285,000 range. These prices need to be confirmed and will be firm when all costings have been received by us and a fixed price contract in place with the builder.
MOORE PARK BEACH NEW MOOLOOLABA
Miara lapse won't stop grand plans | Bundaberg Newsmail | 30th January 2009
View Moore Park Beach in a larger map
The area called Miara is on the other side of the river that joins Moore Park Beach.
As you can see Bundaberg Sugar is about to develop another "Mooloolaba" there. A new town / city with a casino !!
They estimate at least 20,000 residents.
This is to be three times the size of Bargara (another beach location / suburb of Bundaberg) Our timing for the development at Moore Park could not be better. |
